A face brush is not a necessity in a grooming kit, but it is a good product to have and will make brushing the face, head and ears much easier. It is basically a smaller version of the Soft Body brush. Using the same easy to hold design with a soft grip, non-slip finish, this great little brush is simple to use and can adapt to various tasks. Used specifically around the face and head, but also in smaller, difficult to reach areas, it will remove fine particles, dust and lose hairs. The soft, short bristles add shine to the coat and are soothing for the horse. Use the brush in a gentle stroking movement across the coat in the direction of the hair growth, taking care not to make sudden or threatening movements that may startle the horse. To clean the Face brush use the Mane and Tail Brush to pull any dirt and hairs through the bristles and then wash it weekly in an antibacterial solution and allow to dry naturally. Do not put it away wet as this may cause deterioration of the bristles.
